Doshin Nelson Michael, Roshi is an Internationally Renowned Zen Master, teacher of the transformative practice of Mondo Zen.

 

Mondo Zen is a powerful process which takes the very best of East and West and consistently leads to a direct experience of pure awareness or pure meditative mind. This experience, in conjunction with the integration of the wisdom of Ken Wilber and the deep shadow work of Carl Jung, makes for a truly unique and unforgettable explorative practice.

 

He is the founder of Integral Zen, Inc. the Colorado branch of the Hollow Bones Zen Order and co-founder of the Poetry of Dying Project, which uses the mirror of death to point to the essence of life. 

 

Doshin worked directly with JunPo Denise Kelly Roshi as he first released and then developed the Process of Mondo Zen™. He continued to develop this transformative process, to include the insight of Integral theory which entails shadow work and further investigation into trauma. 

 

Doshin leads Integral Mondo Zen retreats around the world, and is commited to doing his part putting an end to war.
